Description

On a flat, flower-covered pedestal stands a young lady in a white skirt, a floral bodice, and an apron filled with plastic flowers, as well as a yellow hat. In her right hand, she holds a flower, while with her left hand, she gathers her skirt. At her feet lies a sheep. The polychrome painting is outlined in gold. Possibly by Johann Joachim Kaendler. Minor damage; restored. Crossed swords mark. Height: 16.5 cm. A porcelain figure of a shepherdess with sheep. Meissen, circa 1750.
