Description
On a quadratic plinth stands a young mother in a long, gold-flowered, antiquizing garment with a sea-green mantle, holding a small child on her left arm. Standing to the side is a naked boy covering himself with her mantle. Polychrome painting. Possibly by Johann Friedrich Eberlein. Model number 272. Production-related flaws. Crossed swords mark. Height 19.5 cm. A porcelain figure group "Allegory of Love". Meissen. Around 1900.
