Snake handle vase
Description
An amphora-shaped body with relief ornament borders. Side handles in the form of intertwining snake pairs. On both sides of the wall, a large, colorful flower bouquet in polychrome painting. Gold staffage. Possibly by Ernst August Leuteritz. Partially rubbed. Sword mark. Height 27.5 cm. A snake-handled porcelain vase painted with flower decor. Meissen. 2nd half of the 19th century.
