Description

White porcelain. Pear-shaped body. Lateral ash handle, rocaille relief beak spout, and hooded lid with branch knob. On the body and lid, finely sculpted applied vine branches with grape clusters, so-called "Irmingersche Belege". Unclear former's mark, possibly Johann Caspar Haase. Restored. Sword mark. Height 23 cm. A porcelain tea jug with applied vine branches. Unclear former's mark. Restored. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. Around 1735-1739.
