Allegorical figure "Painting"

On a quadratic, profiled pedestal stands a standing, laurel-crowned, female personification in a white gown and a floral-patterned mantle, holding a paint palette and brushes in her left hand. Her mouth is covered by a white band tied at the back of her head. Polychrome painting with gold staffage. Possibly by Friedrich Elias Meyer. Press number 119. Minor restoration; crossed swords mark.
