Original title: Gegensücke. Auf rocaille-relieftem Sockel stehende Dame bzw. Herr in teilw. gestreifter und rautengemusterter Tracht, jeweils mit Schulterumhang sowie Pilgerhut. Polychrome Malerei mit Goldstaffage. Entw. Johann Joachim Kaendler, 1743. Schwertermarke. H. 13,5 cm - 14 cm. A pair of porcelain figures "Actor" and "Actress" in costume. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. Um 1760 - 1770.

Translation: Original title: Counterparts. Standing on a rocaille-relief base, a lady or gentleman in partially striped and diamond-patterned attire, each with a shoulder cape and pilgrim hat. Polychrome painting with gold embellishments. Possibly designed by Johann Joachim Kaendler in 1743. Sword mark. Height 13.5 cm - 14 cm. A pair of porcelain figures titled "Actor" and "Actress" in elaborate costumes. Manufactured by Meissen around 1760 - 1770.
