Dance group

On a rocaille relief, adorned with plastic leaves, stands a couple in a dancing pose on an elegant, differently patterned Rococo dress, embracing each other and holding hands. The polychrome painting is embellished with gold staffage. Possibly by Johann Joachim Kaendler, around 1760/70. Some restoration is evident, but minimal. There is a minor chip. Marked with crossed swords. Height: 15 cm. A porcelain figure group depicting a dancing couple. Made in Meissen around 1760-1770.
