Spherical, curved spout. The flat lid with a plastic branch knob. Gilded bronze mounting on hinged handle and mouth rim with chain link and branch-shaped porcelain handle. Surrounding relief decoration in gold stafette, depicting vine and forget-me-not vines. On the body, colorful decor with music-playing shepherdesses in an implied landscape. Polychrome painting, likely from the house painter workshop of Franz Ferdinand Mayer-Preßnitz. Sword mark. Height 27 cm. A gilt-bronze handled porcelain teapot, polychrome painted with "Hausmaler" decor, probably by F.F. Mayer-Preßnitz. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. Middle of the 18th century.
