
On a rectangular base covered with overlaid leaves stands a young boy emptying a basket of fish. The painting is polychrome. It is either by Johann Joachim Kaendler or of unknown origin; there are some minor restorations. The height is 10.5 cm. Please refer to the catalog of the Museum in the Bad Pyrmont Castle, page 159, for a similar depiction. This porcelain figure of a young fisher boy is insignificantly restored and bears the crossed swords mark. It is from Meissen, circa 1750.
