Rare Figure "Diana with Dog"

Irregular terrain base. On the shore, seated on a rock, is the hunting goddess Diana portrayed as an antique-inspired nude, drying her left foot with a blue cloth. Her head turned to the left. At her feet, a sitting dog and a discarded quiver filled with arrows and a bow. Polychrome painting with minimal use of gold. Possibly by Johann Carl Schönheit, around 1770. Model number E75. Condition: minor chips, restored, repaired. Sword mark. Height: 16.5 cm. A rare porcelain figure of the hunting goddess Diana depicted as a female nude. Meissen, around 1935-1945.
