On the shore, seated on a rock, the hunting goddess Diana is depicted in an antique style, wiping her left leg with a blue cloth. Her head is turned to the left. A dog sits at her feet, and beside her lies a discarded quiver filled with arrows and a bow. Polychrome painting with minimal use of gold. Possibly a work by Johann Carl Schönheit, circa 1770.
