Description

A young lady stands on a flat, flower-strewn pedestal, wearing a white skirt, a floral blouse, and an apron filled with plastic flowers, as well as a yellow hat. In her right hand, she holds a flower, while her left hand gathers her skirt. A sheep lies at her feet. The multicolored painting is outlined in gold. This may be a work by Johann Joachim Kändler. There is minor damage; it has been restored. Marked with crossed swords. Height: 16.5 cm. A porcelain figurine of a shepherdess with sheep. Meissen, circa 1750.
