

A curved, ascending columnar body, supported by four volute legs, with an open crown of reticulated ornamentation. Rich relief decoration in the rocaille style and vegetal motifs across the entire surface. The front side features a sculpted stag's head, suspended by a net-like fabric, with Boucher's lovers floating in the clouds. The narrow sides display beautiful floral compositions. Multicolored painting. Designed by J.J. Kändler. The clock has a removable, round pocket mechanism with key winding. A white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, signed "George à Lyon" (active circa 1807-1815) with the number 3667. The clock's back cover is missing. Restored. Marked with a monogram.
