"Scaramuz" from the Italian comedy.
Description
On a rocaille base, a dancing comedian stands in a flowery patterned gray doublet and black trousers, holding his cloak in his left arm. The polychrome painting is adorned with gold trim. Possibly by Franz Anton Bustelli, 1759/60. Manufacturer's mark. Height: 19.5 cm. A porcelain figure of Scaramouche from the Commedia dell'arte. Nymphenburg. 20th century.
