KURT HERBERTS" in red with inventory number "B 68/387". Sheet approximately 28.5 cm x 36 cm. Framed. The stamp refers to the significant chemist, entrepreneur, lacquer factory owner, and art collector, who employed renowned painters and Bauhaus artists such as Willi Baumeister, Oskar Schlemmer, and Georg Muche from 1937 to 1944. Provenance: Collection of Prof. Dr. Herberts (1901-1989).
