(Active in the 18th/19th century) Society in a rural interior scene, influenced by David Teniers, Adrian van Ostade, and Adriaen Brouwer. The depiction shows a seated older man surrounded by a southern group (possibly of so-called travelers) giving a silver coin from a lavishly filled money bag, while two children play tambourine and rumble pot (brummtopf). Oil on copper plate, 27.6 cm x 23.5 cm. Dutch painter active in the 18th/19th century; Oil on copper.
