Group of figures "Allegory of Music" in bronze. Wood. Rectangular, curved, rocaille-decorated base with plastic dragon feet. Encased wooden plate with crane motif in Japanese lacquer painting. On top, vase-shaped sprinkler and inkwell, as well as central Meissen figure group, "Allegory of Music," depicting an antique-style, young woman in a white gown and delicately yellow, Indian flower-patterned cape. Sitting at her feet is a putto. Possibly by J.J. Kaendler. On the reverse side, branching vines transition into leaf-shaped tulles as candle arms with large porcelain flowers. Figure undetermined, restored; sword mark. Figure height 15.5 cm. Total height 19 cm. 26 cm x 20 cm. A bronze writing set with Meissen porcelain figure "Allegory of Music." Insignificantly restored. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. Mid-18th century.
