Description

On an oval base adorned with plastic flowers and leaves, a deer is depicted in a leaping posture. The fur pattern, painted in naturalistic tones of brown, is highlighted with a pale spot on the hindquarters. The painting is polychrome. It is either the work of Johann Joachim Kaendler or a restoration. The piece bears a crossed swords mark. Height: 10.5 cm.
