Two women are engaged in conversation and handiwork, while at their feet two young children are absorbed in their play. In the background, another boy with his back turned to the viewer. A subtly and lovingly staged genre scene in a cheerful mood. Oil on canvas, relined. Indistinctly signed; verso difficult to read, measuring 33 cm x 41 cm. Framed.
