High domed lid resembling a hood with cube-shaped, dark brown banded wooden knob. Surface covered with fine hammered finish. On the sides, two curved, conically widening handles made of ebonized wood, encased at the volute attachment. Dated 800, maker's mark, dealer's mark "Sönnichsen". Weight approximately 705 g.
