

In the style of Karl Fabergé, this piece is crafted from silver, partially gilded and enameled. It is rectangular in shape with gently curved walls and rounded corners. The flat hinged lid and walls are enameled in blue over a ground of wave-like guilloche pattern, partially bordered by a dark blue edge. At the center of the lid, there is a cross-shaped medallion with an applied, filigree pierced monogram, framed by two stylized flower calyx ornaments and set with diamond roses. The corners and edges are adorned with chiseled, stylized leaf decorations. It weighs approximately 220 grams and measures 2.5 cm in height, 9.8 cm in length, and 5.3 cm in width. This is a heavy small Russian gilt silver and enameled box in the style of Karl Fabergé, with a standard mark of 88. It dates back to the 20th century.
