Little pill box
Description
In the style of Karl Fabergé, this silver, gilded, and enameled pill box is a masterpiece. Its square-shaped body features rounded corners, and the hinged lid is centrally adorned with a small, appliquéd star, set with diamond roses over a royal blue enameled and net-like guilloché ground. Surrounding it is a black enameled frame with a golden profile line. The pill box measures approximately 2.8 cm x 2.8 cm, with a height of 1.2 cm and a weight of about 40 g. It bears the standard mark 88 and is of Russian gilt silver and enamel craftsmanship. This exquisite piece dates back to the 20th century.
