On both sides of the wall and in the mirror, large-scale scenes with courtly couples in landscaped settings, partly with comedian and Pierrot representations after Watteau, alternating with floral branches. Purple camaiu painting. Surrounding gold lace border. Gold no. 93. Sword mark. H. 4.5 cm. The porcelain painter Gottlob Siegmund Birckner (Bürckner) specialized in Watteau decor, also managed copper engravings of Watteau subjects from around 1745 and executed "en camaiu" Watteau scenes.
