In blue painting, a standing bottle-shaped, pressed-spherical corpus with a stepped shoulder, cylindrical long neck, and slightly swinging rim is exhibited. Overhanging, vaulted lid with a spherical knob. A fully plasticized lizard is applied at the neck. Large-scale blooming chrysanthemum branches are applied on all sides of the wall, surrounded by birds and butterflies in underglaze blue painting. Surrounding border of half-blossoms and pearl trim. Corresponding border on the lid. Year mark. Sword mark. H. 24 cm. New design based on an early Meissen vase form designed around 1725 in the Chinese style, listed as "eight pieces ditto bottles blue and white with long necks and lids, on each bottle an eyeglass". On July 13, 1726, eight exemplars, intended as fireplace pieces, were delivered to the royal court of Augustus the Strong.
