Description

Relief gilded shell frame. In the recessed area of the image—a wide park landscape. In the foreground, a nobleman sits on a horse, wears a feather on his hat, and is surrounded by a blacksmith and other figures, not far from an impressive fountain complex. In the background, a large castle complex rises above a backdrop of rocky formations with fortifications, probably in Saxon Switzerland. Very beautiful polychrome painting. Partially unglazed back edge with a divided hole for wall hanging. Minimum dimensions 11 cm x 16 cm. 16.5 cm x 12 cm.
