

Born in 1940 in Munich. Currently resides here. Hühnerhof, a meticulously executed painting in the style of cabinet painter Kaplan, active as an animal and landscape artist. With his paintings of chickens and ducks, characterized by carefully observed, detailed, and lively depictions of birds, Kaplan follows the traditions of Carl Jutz the Elder, as well as Munich animal painters Julius Scheurer and Max Hunger, who also dedicated themselves to these motifs.
