Original title Atmospheric, finely layered painted harvest scenes by Shayers, who was equally talented as a landscape and figure painter. He exhibited over 400 paintings at the Royal Academy, Society of British Artists, and British Institution; works owned by the Tate Gallery and the Metropolitan Museum. Oil on canvas. (Malware stamp by Thomas Miller, London). Signed and dated 1848. Verso artist's label with inscription and location Southampton. 30.5 cm x 43.5 cm. Framed.
