(1826 Munich - 1887 ibid) Winter landscape with an old forge, view of a snow-covered, mountainous landscape with an old, picturesque forge on a frozen body of water, children playing in front of the forge with an open door, a group of figures and a horse. A main subject of Doll's were winter landscapes with idyllic villages and ice skaters. Oil on canvas, relined; L. and signed with location Munich. 45 cm x 62 cm. Framed.
