Sachsen-Coburg and Gotha (1820 - 1904) "after Franz Xaver Winterhalter. Rectangular picture plate depicting the Duchess in a wooded landscape, wearing a magnificent blue dress with black lace and red flowers at the décolleté. Based on a portrait by Winterhalter from 1842. Numbered and labeled on the verso with an old label, "304 Alexandra Gräfin von Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha 1840-" as well as two overlapping inventory labels, including "Schloss Baden Inventar Seite 368 No. 37." 12 cm x 15.3 cm. Gilded wooden frame with corresponding applied brass plaque, numbered "304."
