Dietricy, who mastered a multitude of styles and motifs, particularly influenced by Dutch and Flemish Baroque painting, enjoyed great esteem in Dresden under Augustus the Strong. In 1741, he became court painter, and in 1765, a professor at the academy. Oil on oak panel. Verso with old adhesive label and attribution. Approximately 23.5 cm x 34.5 cm. Framed.
