Description

On a rococo-style relief decorated with plastic leaves, a couple stands in a dance pose on an elegant rococo-patterned dress, embracing each other and holding hands. The polychrome painting is adorned with gold details. Possibly a work by Johann Joachim Kändler, circa 1760/70. Minor restoration work is visible. There is a small chip. Marked with crossed swords. Height: 15 cm. Figural group made of porcelain, depicting a dancing couple. Manufactured in Meissen around 1760 to 1770.
