

A group of porcelain figurines depicting a loving couple, surrounded by a relief-decorated border of braids encompassing the pedestal. Situated on an elevated rocky terrain next to a fluted column and a handled vase, there stands a gardener or a seated gardener with a sculpted floral garland. At their feet sits a pair of billing doves. On the reverse side sits a girl with a flower basket and a floral garland. Polychrome painting with rich gilded decoration. Possibly the work of Michel Victor Acier. Model number F 88. The vase lid is missing. Condition: chips. Marked with crossed swords. Height: 20.5 cm. Meissen. Second half of the 19th century.
