Description

A depressed, spherical body with a curved, barely visible pierced lid from the outside, adorned at the center with a large grape-shaped handle. The body and lid are densely covered with plastic snowball flowers, individually detailed and intertwined with leafy branches. Polychrome painting. Gilt rim. Probably executed by Johann Joachim Kaendler. Miniature item. Damaged; blurred crossed-swords mark. Height: 14 cm. Meissen. Circa 1740-1745.
