Meissen Figural Group "Venus and Cupid"

On a high pedestal, with plastic branches and floral vines, sits a half-dressed Venus on a stone base, accompanied by a standing winged Cupid with a quiver, his wings gilded. Opposite them is a cooing pair of doves, symbolizing love. Polychrome painting. Possibly a work by Peter Reinicke around 1747. There is minor restoration; slight damage; crossed swords mark.
