Round, slightly concave shape. "Reliefzierat" with beads, lattice and framework work, mosaic, and vibrant floral painting. Attributed to Friedrich Elias Meyer. Artist marks, including those of the floral painter Anton Herder (active at KPM Berlin from 1903 to 1935), the decorative painter Franz Letzner (active from 1899 to 1928), and Ewald Hoffmann. Marked with a scepter, painting, and partially a military mark. Diameter 17.5 cm. Modeled after the dinner service from the New Palace in Potsdam commissioned by Frederick the Great. A set of eight porcelain bread plates with the "1st Potsdam Service" decoration, meticulously painted flowers. Marked with a scepter, artists' marks, and partially a military mark. KPM Berlin.
