Round, slightly recessed shape. "Reliefzierat" with beads, lattice and framework work, mosaic, and vibrant floral painting. Attributed to Friedrich Elias Mayer. Artist marks, including those of flower painter Anton Herder (active at KPM Berlin from 1903 to 1935) and decorative painter Franz Letzner (active from 1899 to 1928), as well as Ewald Hofmann. Mark - scepter, painting, and partly military mark. Diameter 17.5 cm. After the dinner service for the New Palace in Potsdam commissioned by Frederick the Great. Set of eight porcelain bread plates with "1st Potsdam Service" decoration, meticulously painted flowers. Mark - scepter, artists, and partly military mark. KPM-Berlin. Circa 1910-1920.
