Ceramics (earthenware). Full sculptural composition of a bird of prey sitting on a rocky base. Polychrome painting and glaze coating. Model No. 3168. Possibly authored by Emil Pottner, 1925. Pressed manufacturer's mark with the inscription "Made in Germany" and brush number 23 in blue. Height 46 cm. Provenance: from the estate of a significant North German private collection. German glazed and painted earthenware figure of a bird of prey, likely created by Emil Pottner in 1925. Manufactory of majolica Karlsruhe. 1925–1930.
