Description
On a tall tree stump with oak leaves and acorns sits a falcon with folded wings, its head turned to the right. Polychrome underglaze painting, possibly executed by Peter Herold in 1913. Possibly marked with the date 1913. Model number 1661. Manufacturer's mark. Height 40 cm. Provenance: from the collection of a significant North German private collector. Modern art: porcelain figure "Icelandic Falcon" by Royal Copenhagen.
