EARLY SOVIET PORCELAIN CUP AND SAUCER, DUELYOVO PORCELAIN FACTORY, 1930s, design by I.I. Rozhdestvenskaya inspired by a Suprematist painting by Nikolai Suetin, porcelain with overglaze painting, on the reverse of the cup and saucer a green overglaze inscription "Made in the Soviet Union" within a triangle, height: 5.5 cm (2 1/8 in). PROVENANCE: Alberto Sandretti Collection; Private collection, New York.
