Description

From the so-called "Dutch Village". It stands on a slightly raised naturalistic base, covered with a turkey's cloud-like tail spread out in a fan shape. The feathers are depicted in a naturalistic style. The piece is polychrome. Possibly the work of Johann Joachim Kändler. Minor restoration/resharpening; crossed swords mark. Height 10.5 cm.
