Description

Two porcelain figural boxes with lids, manufactured by the Kuznetsov Factory, Moscow, mid-19th century. Rectangular in shape, each box is molded and decorated with an image of a young woman holding a sickle and a bouquet of flowers gathered in her apron, sleeping on a bundle of wheat. With an underglaze blue mark; one of the boxes is unmarked. Height: 5 inches (12.7 cm), length: 9 inches (22.9 cm) (2 pcs.)
