

(1863 Bremen - 1922 Munich) Small Harbor Impressionistic, North German landscape, possibly with a motif on the Unterweser or one of its tributaries. Vinnen, who studied with Fritz Mackensen and Otto Modersohn in Düsseldorf, belonged to the Worpswede artist colony, although he never lived there himself. In addition to Mackensen and Modersohn, he became acquainted with Hans am Ende, Fritz Overbeck, Heinrich Vogeler, and Paula Modersohn-Becker. Oil on cardboard.
