(1824 Munich - 1895 ibid) "Winter Landscape". Original title embellished landscape with ice pleasures, probably in the Dachau Moos. Particularly atmospheric and characteristic work of Stademann, who studied under Carl August Lebschée and Moritz Lotze. He preferred to dedicate himself, inspired by the Dutch masters of the 17th century, to the depiction of moonlight and winter scenes, to which he skillfully added a atmospheric, impressionistic touch in his loose brushwork and coloration. Oil on canvas; signed; verso with original label, probably titled and annotated with the Munich artist's address. 42 cm x 61 cm. Framed.
