Description

A round, bulging, eight-sided tureen with an inwardly curved body. The handles are shaped like volutes, with a plastic asparagus bundle and cornucopia design at the base. The domed lid features a large, fully plastic lemon-shaped knob. On the body and lid, there is a so-called "Gotzkowsky" relief with raised flowers alternating with colorful flower arrangements. The polychrome painting is partially adorned with gold gilt borders. Partially restored; with crossed swords mark. Height: 23.5 cm. Diameter: 30 cm. A large porcelain tureen with a "Gotzkowsky" relief pattern and finely painted flower decoration. Partly restored. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. Mid-18th century.
