The stunning interior porcelain statuette of an Ara parrot is made at the Karl Ens factory, famous for its animalistic statuettes. Due to the elongated, contrasting pedestal in the form of a branch, the figure of the parrot looks incredibly impressive. The multi-colored painting, conveying the natural color of these magnificent tropical birds, impresses with its richness and variety of shades. The paint transitions highlight the beautiful detailing of the bird's feathers, creating an illusion of complete realism. The voluminous modeling of the feathers is complemented by multi-layered detailing. Thanks to this, each feather stands out and plays with the light, naturally shaping the bird's body position, the curve of its back and wings. The artist of the statuette particularly succeeded in capturing the characteristic powerful beak and strong, gripping claws of the parrot's head. The parrot statuette is practically made in real size, it is full of life and dynamic, as if the bird is about to take off, spreading its powerful wings. It dates back to the period of 1960-1970, it is marked with Karl Ens, and its size is 37cm in height. The material is porcelain.
