Unique. Stoneware, light gray shards. Hemispherical body, cylindrical neck, protruding rim. Light and dark brown, ash-like glaze; painted, stylized leaf or bamboo decoration in reddish brown. Workshop press marks "KERSTAN KANDERN" and "K" as well as brush mark with date "Kerstan 1981" in dark brown. H. 17.5 cm. A unique bottle-shaped German studio pottery glazed stoneware vase by Horst Kerstan. Signed and dated 1981. Kandern. Horst Kerstan. Date 1981.
