A pair of enamel vases with gallant couples.

Copper enamel, with silver mounting. Trumpet-shaped base, transitioning into a tall ovoid, narrow body with a drawn-in neck and a strongly expanding rim. Base and neck enamelled in brown and adorned with white-rose-colored, filigree foliage, flower garlands, peacocks, and masks with gold accents. The vase body featuring delightful depictions of gallant couples sitting on a bench and spinning in front of tree and architectural landscapes in polychrome translucent enamel, or lovely salmon and pink tones. Signed "FC". Minimal flaw. Accompanied by unclear hallmarks and a central depiction of a post horn. Height 20 cm. A pair of small, probably French Limoges copper enamelled and silver-mounted vases. Indistinct assay mark and unknown maker's mark. Signed. Minor flaws. Likely from France, Limoges. Circa 1900.
