Papier-mâché, black lacquer. Round with a beveled edge. On the lid, a detailed depiction of Dresden seen from the left bank of the Elbe, at the level of the wharves. On the horizon, the city skyline featuring the Frauenkirche, the Belvedere, Brühl's Terrace, the Catholic Hofkirche, and the Augustus Bridge. In the foreground, figures of people on the Elbe meadows, including strollers and boatbuilders. On the Elbe, a large sailing boat and several rowing boats. Likely based on the engraving "Dresden from the Morning Side" by the artist Christian Friedrich Sprinck (1769-1831). Polychrome lacquer. Minor damage. Height 1.8 cm, diameter 9.5 cm.
