(Active in the first quarter of the 18th century) Oval portrait of a young lady. Bust portrait of an elegantly dressed woman with long, blonde hair falling over her right shoulder. She turns her head slightly to the right in a gentle three-quarter profile, with a brooch sparkling at the neckline of her white blouse. In her left hand, she holds a blue coat cloak. The portrait gains considerable plasticity and vitality through soft lighting, delicate modeling, and highlights reflected in the eyes. It reflects the influence of French portraitist Nicolas de Largillière (1656–1746), who greatly impacted painting across Europe in his time with his portraits. Oil on canvas, relined; 75 cm x 61.5 cm. Framed. German portraitist, active in the first quarter of the 18th century; Oil on canvas, relined.
