"Picturesque Village: A Summer Day with Ducks"

(Born in 1940 in Munich. Currently resides there.) On a wonderfully cheerful summer day, a large flock of ducks gathered with their ducklings on the shore of a pond, beautifully adorned with reeds and a multitude of wildflowers. In the background, there is a view of a picturesque Bavarian village under a beautifully clouded, sparkling blue sky. This characteristic, meticulously painted animal piece by Kaplan, who was educated at the Munich Academy and works as an animal and landscape artist, captivates with its painterly style, which is easy to find echoed in the senior Munich school of the 19th century and around the year 1900.
