It is highly emotional, executed with free, bright brushstrokes in the impressionistic style of the artist, who studied under Harpignies and Jules Lefebvre. Starting in 1888, Lévis regularly exhibited his landscapes at the exhibitions of the Société des Artistes Français, among others. Oil on wood panel. Signed.
